Keep your Thursday nights open starting April 8 for the 2010 Tigers Spring Mixer! The Tigers Spring Mixer 2010 offers the following: * Rosters consisting of a mix of players from different organizations and skill levels. * Excellent game times: Thursday nights starting around 7:45pm. * Games at Robert Crown Ice Arena in Evanston and other nearby rinks (e.g. Skokie Skatium, Northbrook Sports Center) * 10 weeks total, April 8 through June 10, 1 game per week per team. * 3 rounds of playoffs May 27, June 3, and June 10. * 2 referees per game. * Team jersey included. * Prizes for first, second, and third place teams. * $180 per skater, goalies $65 A few notes: * As has happened in past mixers, the local ice shows and rink closures make ice unavailable on certain dates at our normal rinks. Please be aware that there is a possibility that a few games may be scheduled on Friday nights this season to accommodate this, though we are making every effort to secure alternate Thursday ice. * We are asking registrants to list any weeks they know they will not be able to attend to try to avoid short benches and minimize substitutions. * Our goal is to create balanced teams. After the first round of play, teams are subject to adjustment as needed for the purpose of balancing skill levels at the discretion of the mixer organizers. Please be assured that we will not take this action unless it seems absolutely necessary. After the first week, players will not be switched around. * After the first week, each team will need to designate a team captain and choose their team's name. * All players need to be USA Hockey registered. If you played during the winter season, you are already registered, so please dig up the confirmation email you received from USA Hockey to find your number, contact your team's registrar, or click here to request your confirmation number.

We are always looking for new skaters and goalies to join the mixer! In the past few years, women's hockey has grown a lot in Chicago and we are sure we are missing contact information for many skaters eager to stay on the ice this Spring.
