General rules:

1. All players must be registered with USA Hockey prior to the first game.
2. Games will be officiated according to WCHL league rules.
3. Misconducts, overly aggressive, or retaliatory behavior will not be tolerated.
4. The referees have the ability to eject a player from the game based upon a joint decision of the referees at the time of the incident.
5. If a player is ejected, the matter will be referred to the Mixer committee for further review and ultimate decision on whether any further action will be taken. In this instance, the player(s) involved, and only the player(s) involved, may be consulted. The opinions of other players, relatives, or others not involved will not be taken into account, nor receive responses from the committee, unless upon the advice of the referees at the game.
6. A player who earns a misconduct or demonstrates overly aggressive or retaliatory behavior may be suspended for the balance of the season, without refund of registration fees.
7. If the referees at a game do not call a penalty for any particular instance, the instance will NOT be looked at again. If a player does not receive a penalty for conduct during a game, that is the end of the matter.
8. The ONLY time that substitutions will be allowed is when a team has fewer than 10 players available for a game.
9. Substitutes may be used only to fill the bench to 10 players for a game.
10. Sub spots can only be filled with a player from the same level or a lower division.
11. Team captains will be given a list of the players by level to help with these decisions.
12. The opposing team's captain and the league director must sign the scoresheet to indicate approval of the subs.
13. No subs in the playoffs or Championship game.

** Any violation of the preceding rules will result in the forfeit of that game by the team in violation. **

The Mixer Committee Reserves the right to amend these rules during the season.
